Around the 4-mile mark, you’ll reach the junction with the Griffith Peak Trail, followed by a gradual climb through an open meadow. Near mile six, the trail rises above the timberline, leaving the bristlecone pines behind. The final half-mile is a strenuous push to the summit of Charleston Peak, where sweeping, breathtaking views await.
