Pastel (Pink) Canyon Trail
This unofficial, short hike takes you through a narrow, winding slot canyon where the rock walls seem to glow with pastel hues, especially when illuminated by the sun. The hike is relatively easy, with a flat and sandy path that makes it accessible for hikers of all skill levels, including families looking for a unique and scenic adventure.
The canyon’s smooth, wave-like rock formations create a mesmerizing and surreal landscape that feels almost otherworldly. As you walk through the narrow passageways, you’ll be surrounded by the natural beauty and intricate textures of the sandstone, making it a fantastic spot for photography. Since the trail is less well-known compared to other attractions at Valley of Fire, it often offers a quieter, more peaceful experience. Pastel Canyon provides a perfect opportunity to explore the vibrant geology and natural artistry of the desert, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking a picturesque and tranquil escape.
